Senior UX specialist for an online gaming and digital entertainment platform group, acting as the user's voice across every product touchpoint and setting the standard for how experience is reviewed.
An online gaming and digital entertainment platform group is looking for a User Experience Expert to own the quality of its end-to-end user experience. You will review products independently from the user's point of view, challenge product logic where it falls short, and make sure improvements are delivered.
This is a role for someone with sharp UX judgement who is comfortable influencing decisions across teams, and who wants to build the standards and methods others will follow.
Your role
- Own expert review and quality control of the overall user experience, covering features, interactions, pages, rules, campaigns, pop-ups and every other user touchpoint
- Independently identify experience issues from the user's perspective, assess whether product logic, rules and interaction design meet user expectations, and drive fixes through to delivery
- Take an active part in product design and solution reviews, giving product, design and operations teams expert UX advice grounded in user needs, usage scenarios and behaviour
- Continuously review existing product logic and user journeys, proactively spotting experience risks and opportunities to improve
- Establish and refine user experience review standards, methods and guidelines, and drive their adoption across teams
- Work closely with product, design, operations and QA teams, using your professional judgement to steer UX-related decisions
What you will bring
- Fluency in Mandarin
- 5+ years in UX/UI, user experience, UX research or a related field, with strong core UX expertise
- A deep understanding of the methods and principles behind user experience, interaction design, user journeys, usability and user behaviour
- A keen eye for user experience and strong product insight, with the ability to uncover deep-rooted experience problems
- Independent judgement: the confidence to challenge existing product logic, rules and designs from the user's perspective, and to propose practical solutions
- Strong cross-functional communication and influencing skills, with a record of getting complex experience issues resolved
Preferred
- Experience with consumer-facing products in internet, gaming, e-commerce or fintech
What is on offer
- A monthly salary of around USD 5,000 to 10,000, paid over 12 months. The final offer depends on your current salary, how closely your experience matches the role, and the interview assessment

- Relocation support: a flight to Hong Kong and one month's hotel accommodation when you join
- The role is office-based in Hong Kong. Longer-term accommodation is not provided, and the monthly salary takes this into account
